Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and the people who run Photo Filters at photo-filters.com ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site offers

Browser filters. You open a photo, pick an effect and adjust it, and your browser creates the result on your own device. We never receive the photo.

Blur Face. The tool finds faces automatically, but it can miss some, for example faces that are small, turned away or partly covered. Check every result before you share it, especially when you are hiding someone's identity. You are responsible for the final image.

AI filters. The filters marked "AI" work differently: when you press Generate, your photo is uploaded to us and sent to an AI model, which creates a new image from it and the options you picked. AI output is unpredictable. A result may look different from what you expected, alter details of the people or things in the photo, or fail outright; a failed image doesn't count against your free allowance. Look at every result before you use or share it.

Free use

The browser filters are free to use with no limit. With the AI filters, every visitor can create one image for free without signing up. That allowance is per person, not per browser: it is tracked per network and device, and using several devices, browsers, VPNs or scripts to get more is not allowed. We may change or pause free use at any time.

Photos you edit

• Use only photos you have the right to use, and photos of people who are fine with it.
• You must be at least 18 to use the site.
• Don't use the site for nudity, sexual content, violence, hate or anything illegal where you or we are.

Your photos remain yours. The browser filters process them on your device only, so we get no copy of them. When you use an AI filter, you allow us and the services named in our Privacy Policy to store your photo and process it only to create your image and run the service. We don't use it for anything else and claim no rights to it.

The images you make

Everything you create is yours to use, personally or commercially, for any lawful purpose. We claim no ownership.

Don't use the results to impersonate someone, make fake identity documents, or mislead or harass anyone.

What you must not do

• Break the law or anyone else's rights through the site.
• Get around the free allowance or rate limits.
• Scrape the site, overload it, probe it for weaknesses or try to reach data that isn't yours.
• Resell the service or build a product on top of it without our written permission.

Our content

The site's design, text, logo and sample images are ours. Please don't copy them without permission.

Changes, suspension and ending access

We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the site. If you break these terms, we may block your access without warning.

No guarantees

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be up, that it is free of errors, or that a filter or result will suit what you need.

Limits of our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or missed opportunities. Our total liability for any claim connected with the site is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing here takes away rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, the date at the top of the page changes as well. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new version.
